The NET starts this authentication ceremony for new technologies from 2006. The total 1580 new technologies were applied for this NET authentication but only 442 new technologies were certified by NET so far.
In this year, 218 of small and large corporations, venture companies and many of laboratories applied for this NET authentication but only 28 companies won the honor of the prize through the total three stages of evaluation process; Documentation, Field of development, Overall inspection.
After the CEO/President meeting of the 28 companies which get this NET award at 3’o clock, the ceremony was started with congratulatory address by Hu-Kyung, the president of Korea Agency for Technology and Standard, followed by commemorative photographing.
For NET Certificated companies, numerous opportunities and supports are given. It includes supports by the Public Procurement Service, technology and fund supports for innovated small company, additional points for governmental technology development project, and tax supports. Also, NET Certificated companies gets marketing support of technical management information and consulting service, and can participate in the periodical seminars and meetings for market launching strategies.
The NET Certification, Sponsored by Korea Industrial Technology Association and supported by the Ministry of Knowledge Economy, is encouraging the development of new technologies and the market launching process of the product using the NET certified technologies, which would be helpful for our domestic marketing and sales for the NET accredited products.
